The Queer Media Society is a volunteer-run, activistic
INITIATIVE of queer media professionals.
We are committed to an open and accepting society.
We fight against the discrimination of lesbians, gays and bisexuals as well as non-binary, trans and inter* people in the media.
The target audience of our activist work is cultural policy and the media industry.
Our events are created in cooperation with various media companies and institutions and are sponsored or supported by different companies and institutions.
Our volunteer work is not primarily aimed at networking queer media professionals. Therefore, we are neither a job board nor a production site for media projects.
